About Us

After 22 years in early childhood education, I've learned what truly helps children thrive and what doesn't. My career spans nearly every level of early learning. I've worked as a nanny and a classroom teacher, led schools, and served as a District Instructional Coach supporting more than 100 educators. I've held Executive Director roles with Goddard and KinderCare, and as a Franchise Consultant, I supported 38 Goddard franchise owners in strengthening their programs, their teams, and the experience they offered families. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University, where I graduated Cum Laude, along with an Ohio Teaching License for PreK through 3rd grade and a K12 Reading Endorsement. Together, those experiences have given me a unique perspective on what exceptional childcare really looks like.

Throughout my career, I've hired, mentored, and evaluated hundreds of childcare professionals. I know that finding the right nanny isn't just about experience or passing a background check. It's about identifying someone with the knowledge, instincts, and heart to nurture a child's growth while becoming a trusted extension of your family.

When it came time to find care for my own twins, I expected the process to reflect everything I knew about child development. Instead, I discovered that most nanny agencies focused almost exclusively on resumes and background checks, with very little attention to the developmental expertise that shapes a child's earliest years. That experience inspired me to create Everly Nannies.

I evaluate every candidate the way an experienced educator evaluates teachers, looking at how a caregiver supports a child's development, communicates with parents, and handles the everyday moments that matter most.
